James Sims (1749-1841)
Jimmy Sims is listed as a Revolutionary War soldier residing in Oglethorpe County, Georgia in 1827. James Sims is also listed in Knights Roster as a Revolutionary War soldier, and records at the Office of the Secretary of State show that James Sims had a headright grant in Wilkes County, Georgia for 350 acres.
